Brijuni
Brijuni have rich history: the first, still unknown traces of human activity on Brijuni date back to the third century BCE. These ethnically unbeknown inhabitants of Brijuni were engaged in farming, animal husbandry, hunting and fishing, as well as building weapons and tools out of stone, bones and wattle. During the great Aegean migration in the first century BCE, Brijuni had been inhabited by Illyrian tribe of Histri, from which the name of the Istria region was derived.
